Choosing the Right Affiliate Program

People who are the least bit savvy about Internet marketing know plenty of scams abound. Unfortunately, Internet marketers with no scruples take advantage of the multitudes of people looking for the means to improve their lives by making money on the Web. It’s a shame, because millions probably get duped into spending money unnecessarily, only to chase down avenues that go nowhere. Fortunately, there are ways you can make money online with no money required. This will probably come as a revelation to those who have been ripped off by online schemes!

But the line between scam and just an ill-advised business opportunity can sometimes be thin. An example of this is the controversy over an web business opportunity named Site Build It. Some people think that one or more people have written a review of SBI that wasn’t entirely accurate. The owner stepped forward to defend himself and he might be right about his product being on the up-and-up. But it would be up to any potential buyer to do his or her own research.

One of the main ways I like to make money on the Web is above-board and also fairly simple to implement. I make money writing using HubPages. HubPages — a community blogging site — makes it simple to create content and generate ad revenue. The number of HubPages “hubs” (pages) you create is up to you. Each hub has the potential to make up to five forms of revenue: Amazon and eBay items, any affiliate marketing program you want to choose, Google AdSense ads and Kontera ads. You get the revenue from 60% of the page views that generate revenue and the people who own HubPages get 40 percent. Affiliate programs are an exception to that rule though; One hundred percent of income generated by clicks from an affiliate link on a hub would belong to you. It takes a while to get good at building solid hubs and I eventually made the decision to emply some automated marketing to help promote my hubs, but the revenue you can generate over time makes it worth it.

One of the affiliate marketing programs I like to use on my hubs is RevResponse, because it provides credible free information for people. When people click on links to any of the RevResponse magazines or white papers and qualify, you benefit financially. It’s just that easy. The qualifying part is the catch though, so you have to understand that aspect. To learn more about the RevResponse rules, read this RevResponse affiliate review. It will help you decide whether signing up is worth your time.
