How to Estimate a Blogger
A lot of people are looking at blogging in order to make some money from it. However, do they really know how to make money blogging? Moreover, do they even know how much can a blogger make by blogging alone?
Blogging income is dependent on the blog, the blogger, and some factors pertaining to the blog in question. The web traffic of the blog, the click ratios, the payment schemes of the advertisements and the affiliate links posted in the blog, and other variables are all factors that could affect the blogging income. You have to have an understanding of some of the basics, if you want to know for yourself at least the rough estimate that bloggers can make.
To set an example, let us assume that one can earn 50 cents for every click that an advertisement displayed in a blog receives. This amount may seem like an overestimation, but this is only an example. As far as blog advertisements are concerned, one can use any number to understand how things work.
You must know first how one is able to generate those 50 cents, in order to arrive at the formula on getting the income of a particular blogger. Again, take an average blog as an example. Average blogs are usually able to garner a click through ratio of 4%. To further elaborate that, four out of a hundred people are expected to click on the advertisements. That would mean getting a single click out of 25 people visiting your site. Therefore if these assumptions are true, a blogger must have the capability to drive 25 visitors to his blog in order to earn 50 cents.
Of course, 50 cents a day is not enough to sustain a decent living. In order to earn $20 worth of blogging income every day, you should be able to have at least a thousand visitors in your blog. That may seem like a lot of people, and you may think that it could be quite an impossible thing to achieve with the overwhelming number. However achieving this number is very possible.
The fundamental way to this is to write, write, and write. If one is going to assume that five visitors are expected to read an article with the aforementioned assumptions active, one should be able to write 200 articles in order to reach one thousand visitors. Again if you work ten hours a day, and have the ablitlty to write and article per hour, you can produce 200 articles in 20 days.
20 days is a whole lot of work for $20. It would be like working for one dollar a day instead of the intended $20 a day. Keep in mind however that this is just the beginning of things. The blogging income will not get stuck at a particular point. In due time, all the efforts that you put in your blog will have a cumulative effect on your income. The little cents that you earn per day can turn into dollars.
Finally, it is important that one does not lose momentum when blogging. Starting is indeed a daunting task, do some research, go through things like WordPress guide, learn what has to be learned about writing, blog security, key words and the sorts, if you do not have the will to expend some effort on it, then blogging might not be for you. If one has the passion to write, then there are good chances that he can make a living out of blogging. Build on that passion, and once you are there, you will know for yourself how much bloggers earn and what the factors that can really affect it are.
