Want Some Fans? Try Blogging For A Change

Are those muscles in your typing fingers? Slip into your sweats and take a seat at the keyboard so you can start blogging away those mental calories. Some folks cannot stop themselves from commenting on everything from people to politics. If you fit that description then you may be that diamond in the rough that is ready to add sparkle to the blogging world.

The internet will provide you with many locations to blog free. Examine several sites and find one you are comfortable with and start pounding on the keyboard. Some blog platforms provide more features than others but most are adequate for your purpose.

Draw upon your job, lifestyle, activities or interests to determine your subject. Do you have the critical advice that folks need to hear before they act on that electric guitar for sale? Write about the garage band you have been in for 20 years. Write about your career or your leisure activities. Your blogging can cover the open range you can corral a niche.

If you have work with pregnant women all day you may be the expert on everything from maternity pants to the best electric breast pump. Share what you know and what you have heard from others. You may be able to promote your profession or personal life with a blog you write.

My neighbor has a great sense of fashion and will dispense what appears to be unlimited knowledge about accessorizing. I now know exactly which hat to wear, what belt goes with my shoes, and that there is a difference between my digital sport watch and a boating watch.

It can be fun to include links to related subjects from your blog. Adding a small picture to the blog can be instructive, creative, or even funny. Links can be found on the internet or use your own. Pictures can be found by searching internet images. It’s your mental landscape so paint with your imagination.

Once you start blogging it is important to be consistent or you will lose readers. Deliver your product on a routine basis that your fans can depend on whether it is daily, weekly, or monthly. Post a hot topic question or opinion piece and your comment section will heat up.

It’s okay to author more than one blog to accommodate your goals. There is a popular blog on the internet written from the perspective of a car called ‘Roll Me Away’ and it has a huge readership. Now go and let your fingers dance on that keyboard.
